Get a hug on the whale!
Each year gray whales march south along the coast of North America toward the Gulf of California, where they mate and give birth. This spectacle attracts whale enthusiasts from all over the world to Mexico. Gray whales are some of the friendliest whales, coming close to boats, laying their heads on the side, letting people touch, hug, scratch and kiss them! Normally we don't touch wild animals, but these giants seem to enjoy this attention from humans and spend a lot of time near boats.
