Wildlife safari in the best tiger reserve in India!

India is an amazing place for the wildlife watching. Mighty tigers are stars of the show - however, it's much more to see here! We will spend 6 days in Tadoba - famous tiger reserve with the highest probability of tiger sightings in the world! March is a great month to visit Tadoba, because tigers can be spotted actively moving and resting around waterholes, the vegetation is getting sparser as it's dried by the sun, which makes visibility in the jungle much better.

We will be spending every morning and afternoon driving through the jungle and looking for wildlife, with the strong focus on tigers. We will use every tool we have to find them.

By the 1970s, India's tiger population had dropped by 95%, to 1,800 individuals. In 1973, India launched a large-scale program to restore its wild tiger population. Currently, India is home to approximately 4,000 wild tigers and 58 tiger reserves. These conservation successes make India one of the world's leaders in wildlife conservation.
Our safari will take place in Tadoba National Park. This park has the highest density of tigers and the highest chance of encountering them of any park in India.

Besides tigers, we have a chance to encounter leopards and sloth bears. And of course, we'll see many other species—several species of deer, wild boar, jackals, monkeys, and a variety of birds.

What to expect from traveling in India?

Traveling in India is different from most other destinations. In this section, we'll briefly outline what to expect in India. You might encounter some unsanitary conditions here — but in most cases you will see it from the car while driving from the airport. Once we get to the hotel, everything is beautiful and tidy. The service in the hotels is good. The food here has a local specific and often vegetarian, but the hotels cook well and deliciously. All water is bottled and clean. Airport security checks are quite strict, which can take a long time. The internet connection can be weak in some places, however, hotels typically have good wifi.
