Day 2-3 / Ocean. Sperm whales and other animals (the order of ocean and onshore days may change)
In the morning after breakfast we are waiting for everyone on the beach for a snorkeling training session. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident in the water during your encounter with whales. But for this you need to prepare.
At 11:00 we will go into the ocean to search for sperm whales. Usually the search takes from 30 minutes to 1 hour. We will very carefully go into the water in small groups of 2-3 people and observe the life of the largest toothed predators in the world.
We keep our distance, do not make sudden movements, do not touch the animals so as not to disturb them and observe their natural behavior.
In between swims to the whales, we will practice diving while holding our breath. This is especially important for inexperienced participants, because in order not to scare the animals, we need to be able to swim and dive smoothly and quietly.
During the first days, we focus on communicating with whales and do not think about beautiful photos and videos. Enjoy communicating with these beautiful animals and feel the moment!
